In the meantime you have got your big local derby to look forward to against:

NORTHWICH VICTORIA

Will you be restricting tickets to 1200 or will you be letting them have the full 2,500 allocation. I bet the atmosphere will be electric! :)

Thanks for the kind words, you never know we could be the next Doncaster or Carlisle. A few clubs have taken a step back to take two steps forward but before we do that we need to make our task to get rid of the leach, but yeah your words mean a lot coming from a Spireite.

Yes the atmosphere will be electric, probably just a bit better than your game against Dagenham/Chester next year, they're just non-league clubs on loan in the football league at the end of the day. In your heart of hearts I know full well 90% of Spireites who are sat in the deva stadium next season will think 'God, I wish I was singing my heart out with 2000 Spireites at Field Mill in a tense local derby now.'

I'm hoping your the next Halifax or Scarborough.

Spireites that go to away games can either have a day out in another town a few pints etc etc or a midday ko at field mill in a police state where movement isn't allowed. Oh ye Mansfield will come out on top every time, not.

If you are down there for a while it will be your cup final when we play again not ours. The fcat that we have played so few times in the last 20 years has took some of the edge of it for the older spireites, it just doesn't mean as much as it used to, perhaps we have mellowed with age.

You're not down just yet, almost certain though. Not shedding any tears over the relegation if it does happen but I really hope haslam doesnt sell to batchelor or do something else equally awful

As long as you can keep that youth set up going, you will be ok. They might not ever admit it, but our Board would kill for that catchment area, commitment by so many local volunteers, and success rate. At your level, it has got to be one of the best in the country.

In a very strange sort of way it is sad to see you go down cos I fear for your future as Haslam sounds like the sort of to$$er we had last time we got promoted.

My other halfs dad and brother are stags fans and I wouldnt be surprised Hasham shuts the club and does a runner with the 600k he owes back to the club.

Chin up and see you soon.

ONE JACK LESTER,
THERES ONLY ONE JACK LESTER (sorry. just one last time for you).
