I'm surprised that nobody, including podcasters, thinks that Akinola can compete there.

I?m not surprised in the slightest.

32 years old. 89 appearances in the last 2 seasons. 35/6 isn't old for a CB.

Exactly. While a number of Shrewsbury fans think he was starting to slow down last season, they almost all think he was comfortably their best centre back. Great signing.

Currently training for annual 41.5 miler on the 15June

    Millers Dale back to Whitwell

Aim to run the first 7 miles down the Monsal Trail to Bakewell and the final 12 from Palterton back to Whitwell

The middle bit up from Bakewell to Chatsworth and over Beeley Moor to Holymoreside will be more of a hike

Then off to Palterton via Grassmore

That sounds like a cracking day out to be fair. I fancy some ultra distances again at some point. Probably when I?m a bit older and no longer improving at the shorter stuff.

I ran my first ever track mile race last week to finish 6th in 5:02.2 and broke my Parkrun PB yesterday running 16:56 at Widnes yesterday. Consistency reaping rewards for me so far this year. Very happy.

if clucas signs it will suggest he?s been signed for midfield or as an attacker.
If he doesn?t sign it surely suggests he was being looked at as a left back which is a spot now occupied by Gordon

    Interesting take.

Clucas was so good he could play anywhere. I?d love to see him back here but really don?t see it happening.
