A few 'highlights':

Chesterfield Football Club aims to be a source of civic pride in the town of Chesterfield by:

- Playing professional football at the highest level possible.

- Managing the club professionally so as to ensure a sustainable future for top class sport in the town.

- Provide excellent customer service in all departments of the club.

Since when exactly? I'd call that a fail!

The article itself reads like some form of April fools joke, it probably wouldn't suprise me that the club don't actually know what day it is, and probably think it's the 1st of April anyway. What rammel

Good question for the AGM next time round...

Q. Could you quote the CFC customer charter to us and explain how you’ve managed to comply with the salient points ?

A. Errr....blank looks and giggles from Warner

I couldn't make it past the opening paragraph. My emphasis in bold:

Chesterfield Football Club is the trading name of CFC (2001) ltd, which is a Limited Company owned by its shareholders and run by a Board of Directors.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

It does show, at least, that someone at the club knows how to google, copy and paste.

The board are a shambles. Individually and collectively an embarrassment.

I would love to know the exact dates that Croot or Warner last put money into the club, which is traditionally an essential feature of being a Director of a lower league club. What do they do?

This bit did make me smile:

"The board of directors are committed to ensuring the workplace is a safe and pleasant environment for staff and visitors alike."

We must be the only circus in town who prioritises and sees fit to produce such a long winded, pitiful load of rubbish. It will have no doubt ticked a box and pleased the author.

Curiosity got the better of me and I ran it through a word counter. Four thousand, five hundred and eighty-three. Nearly twice as many as Edgar Allan Poe used to write "The Masque of the Red Death."

Brighton’s is similar. So similar in fact that two of the lines quoted in the opening post are almost word for word the same. Who copied who? Or are the words lifted from a seminar, article or template produced by the FA, with little thought to their actual meaning?

It can be summed up in a single sentence - wazzing down punters' necks whilst telling 'em it's raining...
