What happened to closing on the 31st of March?? I was on there earlier and that was the plan. I know the Admin had had enough, but didn't expect it to be so soon. I've signed up to the one you mentioned have you?? We need Cashis,SpireiteUK etc to sign up though now, hopefully they'll get the message from here. Saddlerad and TB seem committed to making the new place work.

Yes, I did. I didn't know it was under threat to be honest. Obviously this is the place for CFC stuff but TFF served a purpose too.

The southend guy that helped run it was a massive prick. Glad its gone. Hope its because he got sued and now has to live in cardboard box.

TBF I didn't really use the football side of TFF, but was involved a lot in the General Chat forum and with a lot of the forum games, including running them. I'll miss that part of it, but it seems a migration of sorts has already taken place with a lot of the people I used to speak to on there, already signed up to the new place.

Lord Football posted on the TFF FB that the site will be back up and running within 12 hrs. I'm not holding my breath though. It was originally meant to be shutting on the 31st March, but from what I can make out, someone threw a strop yesterday and shut it down early. So there's 2 different stories sort of there, so who knows??

The guy who owned it was going to close it anyway I was told but brought it forward as he was annoyed that this other one was being promoted.

Apparently he couldn't just pass it on due to data protection issues which seems daft to me.

Yet the Admin had been actively encouraging people to post links to other forums,which has always been a massive no-no on TFF. Summat doesn't add up........

Load of rubbish about not being able to pass it on, more a sense of self importance from the Admin team, who seemingly wanted to reminisce about the 'good old day's' rather than cater for the needs of the thousands of people that were signed up to TFF.
