Was he getting injured all the time, which is how I’d see injury prone as being, or did he just struggle to make the transition to regular first team football and the physicality and fitness needed for it? A year extra of growing and training both fitness and technically will likely have made a massive difference to him.
Hes gone from being the next sam morsy to an injury prone disaster that will ruin our season with one rolling of his ankle!
A ‘series of niggles’ is the phrase used at the time. Like rolling his ankle I presume. (I’m being facetious)
Another hope is that Fleck can make more than 7 starts/ 9 sub appearances this season. -

Rolling an ankle could have happened to anyone and good to see that the slightest injury to someone still has them marked out as injury prone by the usual crew.
No doubt it’s sore, I’ve done it standing on a boundary rope playing cricket and it bloody hurts, but he’ll have good treatment and be back in no time. In fact depending on how bad he did it half a chance him and fleck haven’t played to avoid making things worse when it’s not needed for them to play.
I don’t think there is any doubt that Dibley-Dias can be considered injury prone- his record at Northampton tells us that. Fulham said ‘he struggled to gain full fitness” on his recall.
The hope, which I agreed with, is we don’t have a repeat of last season and of course that Dibley-Dias plays a major part in our promotion push.
And that his first injury of the season is to be th last.
