I suspect many had the same reaction when we signed James Berry ?
That didn't work out too badly , did it ?

Well hopefully that's the stand-in right winger. It's a big step up for him but Cook will have him believing he's good enough for the Liverpool first team.

He plays centrally. Think Jamie Vardy. That's the style for want of a better description.

Good luck lad.

Good luck lad.

Purely based on that video, good movement. Good finisher.

I have watched his last 3 games and he has massive potential very quick and an eye for goal and just need Cookie and his team to bring him on a very exciting prospect indeed

It’s May, he’s not going to be the main striker, others coming in…not sure what you want….

Really?

Surely the only way you'll know whether you're right or wrong is to reserve judgement until you've actually see him play for us a few times.
We're on our way

Ridiculous isn't it 🙄 It’s got to be a shoe-in for Bonkers Bobs Board comment of the week on Quigley Tuesdays?

Simple fact is that every incoming at our level isn’t going to be in the Naylor, Grigg bracket, they’ll always be a few “speculate to accumulate” deals. Berry was one Jez was one, some you win, some you lose, it could even be argued that Super Kev was a speculative signing!

Young pacey unproven and not eating into the budget too much. On face of it a good signing with potential. Good business assume we have an option to extend if he starts showing that potential.

Completely agree…I’m excited by his potential from watching a few of his games from last season. If we bring in a blend of EFL experience alongside young, hungry exciting talent like Drummond before the season starts it’s going to be another great season I believe!

If, as a mate told me who's seems to be in the know,he can play up front, on the wing and behind the striker. Looking at the YouTube clip shows he has good movement, a turn of speed and intelligence on and off the ball. If he can't blossom with the coaching team we have, then he isn't going to make it, but I think it's a great signing without too much outlay on wages.

Suspect it’ll be Drummond in and Curtis out. Low risk but has potential.

Pleased with this. We needed more pace in the side and this lad should bring that at relatively low cost. Hope he comes on in leaps and bounds under Cookies guidance.

I hope his contract has an option of a further year in our favour as if this season goes well for him we won't want to lose him for nowt the following summer!

I see it very much as a ' Micheal Gyasi' signing. It's a educated gamble by the CFC Team.
We want pace and goals up front, this is what Drummond brings albeit from a lower standard. Let's hope it works out better than Gyasi, but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't.
The bear bones of the contract sound win/win for both parties, so let's see what this lad can do.
I'm excited to see him pre season and his pace. Like some one said in an earlier post, looks like he has a touch of Vardy in his play

Wonder why Berry gets 3 years and Drummond 1 got to be options in the clubs favour
