He has no experience, at all, of the lower division.
He keeps telling us that the players are buying into his ideas but when we play those ideas appear to be "clueless".
He took Jones (a LB) off today as a tactical move which possibly appeared to be going four at the back from three CBs (couldn't be sure because we were so bad anyway) to replace him with an inexperienced Kakay (a RB) at LB with Grimshaw (a poor midfielder) out of position at RB.
We have three forwards so far apart that if one gets a knock-down neither of the other two are close enough to benefit by it.
His choice of experienced GK cost us a goal and a point last week and a couple of goals this week in a shocking display of hesitancy. Fulton looks world class by comparison.
He doesn't appear to rate the youngsters DW blooded, because of a massive injury list, preferring to blood other teams youngsters instead. I would argue our kids looked better under DW than any of GC signings and, today, Simons did more in 10 minutes than Faupala in the entire time he was on the pitch.
With the teams we've played since his arrival (several teams struggling at the wrong end of the table) can anybody actually believe that DW would have got less than 3 points out of the 21 on offer? Bear in mind that RH won as many points in the couple of games he was in charge.
Not one of the 6 signings he has made have impressed since arriving in other than short spells in games and certainly don't inspire confidence that GC is a capable player in a poor man's marketplace.
The sacking of DW and the appointment of GC looks like yet another financial cost to the club.
I cannot seeing us winning another game this season with GC as manager, the players he's brought in, and the sterile tactics he employs.
