Tshimanga, unsurprisingly, one of 6 players made available for transfer at Peterborough.

I feel for him, and I can't see him playing in the EFL, not this season anyway. When a thug like that can get away with ruining a player's future, it says everything about the National League. Didn't the same player try to take out Colclough too?

Excellent signing or should I say signings. It'll be very interesting to see who comes in next, be it a full back, apprentice to Mike Jones or a goalkeeper, I trust Cook to get it right.

    Well said.

For too many years our club was the victim of some questionable recruitment. By contrast, since Paul Cook came back to the club and the Kirks became involved, we've seen a refreshingly different and measured approach to signing new players and retaining existing ones. Long may it continue.

I think our recruitment will be very similar to last season and I look forward to seeing who we bring in and in which positions.

Very true, it just seems that we've had an influx of professionals, and it shows.

That would be the sensible option to come back to us instead of 'running before you can walk'
Given the opportunity to build your experience with a team you're used to, just had success with and building momentum, in my eyes would be more preferable than being put into a higher division and team you are not used to/gelled with and have your confidence pegged back by being dropped/sent back/ bottom end of table.
Not saying we won't be bottom end next season (pretty sure we will be more than ok) but he has a better chance with us picking up where he left off than starting from scratch.
But, its not the be all and end all as we have Boot signed up

I agree with all this. The staff and players like him as do most of the fans so any isolated mistakes will be forgiven, more than likely. If Covolan had been with us for a while before he got sent off for trying to hack someone's leg off, then I feel he would have been forgiven and his confidence wouldn't have been shot to the point where he could do nothing right. The same could happen to Tyrer if he goes to a league 1 club and kicks someone into oblivion which costs them.

Solihull have got exactly what they deserve, nowt. I have no time for them at all and it would be fitting if they were fighting off relegation next season, but I doubt it.
