Glad to see we're not over reacting to something based on absolutely no evidence bar a couple of photos with no reference points!! These are professional architects who have been involved with something like twickenham and professional builders and I can't see them making a simple error.

I look at the webcam pic where there's actually seats installed around an entrance (on the West Stand, south end) and it looks ok to me. Gnawing away inside me is the idea that an architect (who has got everything spot on so far) might have designed these things to be the height that they are, and that he might just know what he's 'king well doing.

Looking at the photo it seems to high, Burton had this, but put a hand rail on top....Im 99 perent certain this is a mistake, and something will have to be done.

Yes thats my point, they have taken the minimum height requirement, and just done this in concrete, should be lower with a hand rail....

If it was at low level like it wants to be then yes, part of regulations.

This is going to be a problem i tell you. look at any other ground and this dont happen

lets looks at other grounds...

look at the far left hand side, you probably need to zoom in if possible, the 3 tunnels on the far side with the seats right at the side of them (no aisle to the right of the seats) look higher than at the B2net

They do at Doncaster, but there is a massive walkway around them.... However most of them pics are from behind the goal, i dont think it matters as much from that view.

If your sat to the far right of a stand behind the goal your going to have severe problems viewing most of the pitch if the wall in directly to the left of where your sat.

It's only not a problem behind the goal if your in the middle of the stand.

its enough to convince me,lets face it the architects are hardly going to screw it up are they,it is just because the seats havent got backs on that it gives the impression they are low, also if you can see the top of the back of the seat when it is behind the concrete its obvious you will be able to see over as the back will be well below shoulder level.........i think we can safely put the concrete saw away

all the old far ts who sit in the centre stand would be wise not to chuck their splinter cushions away so quickly

Nar then I sit in the centre stand and if I get to ref this match you are arranging you may only get to last 5 minutes and then you can spend the remainder of the game sat in the centre stand

If you look on the webcam, at the bottom left corner of the North stand and compare the concrete wall to the Heras fence around the pitch for a size indicator, it looks like the walls are about 3 to 3 & half foot tall. Seeing as your seat will be at least 18 inches off the floor to give you enough leg room, it would mean your torsoe + neck would need to be less than 2 foot to see over the top off the wall.

Should be no poblem at all to see over the top off unless your taking a minor to the games with you and it might restrict the view for your little ones. Of course this is all worked out on the bases of guessing how high that heras fence is on the pitch. I really can't see the old health and safety bods letting you have a pretective wall around the walkways less than 3ft. I think we are all worrying about nothing

I think you should take a closer look at the pictures it looks higher than that to me!

Always something guys haven't you forgot we sit on the seats and not the concrete. You really think there is a mistake as fundemental as this.
