On Saturday they have their usual Sheffield United summariser in Keith Edwards for their angle. As for Chesterfield's point of view they have..........no-one.
So much for balance.

To radio deedah we are irrelevant unless it suits them eg Wembley trips when they big us up at that time
On the Chesterfield marathon sunday with roads in the area closed for several hours radio deedah said on their morning road bulletins
everything was running normally
Says it all really

Why on earth anyone listens to RS for coverage of CFC is beyond me.
They cover us only under sufferance, why bother with them

Trouble is some seem to have a downer on Peak
Justified in some ways as they are essentially a crappy commercial station. However they do cover North Derbyshire and CFC in particular and should be given some licence

I've little interest in hearing the Lighthouse Family or Shania Twain so can cheerfully avoid 99.9% of their output. For two hours a week though at least, if you can't make the game, their coverage is very decent.

Sorry to be pedantic, 4 hours, plus 3 when we are playing midweek, plus bits and pieces
How on earth any CFC fan can complain at that is beyond me, but complain they do

The ONLY complaint I have about Peak FM is they mention how Sheff Utd or Sheff Wed are doing and tweet their scores as well, why? I can understand Matlock and Alfreton, like I say their coverage is usually first rate though.

I agree. Bad form and should be stopped. Staveley's or Buxton's instead please.

Why do you refer to them as 'pigs'? That's a matter for pathetic Deedah squabbling isn't it?

Hi everyone,
Dan here, broadcast assistant and producer for Total Sport. I'm usually the one who works behind the scenes and lets Tom take all the credit
Thanks as ever for your feedback; just a note on this issue. As a station, Sheffield does come under our 'patch', so to speak. Our listenership extends to South Yorkshire as well. As such, we tweet those scores/mention them in our fixtures. However, we do also mention Buxton and Staveley, arguably to a greater extent than the Sheffield clubs.
Our clubs are Chesterfield, Alfreton, Matlock, Ilkeston, Buxton, Staveley, Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United, in that order of emphasis.
I hope that clears some things up.
COYS,
Dan
