That only leaves us 1 down. We're start of July. No pre season games have even happened yet.
It's like some of you have never seen a pre season before. Calm yer sens.

I'm pretty certain every other pre-season has seen this forum full of posts of hope, anticipation and absolutely no headless chicken panicking whatsoever.
I think this year must be exceptional
PS - am I the only one who thinks DS has a passing resemblance to Dustin Hoffman?
Irrelevent, yes, but you know....

If you look back to last season many were predicting relegation in fact I think someone predicted we would finish bottom as we hadn't strengthened and we would be left with all the scraps from the table. The fact is no one knows at this stage how strong we will be but it's easier to be pessimistic than optimistic as signings haven't come early. Personally I think it must be difficult for the club as they probably expect to lose at last one more player but as of yet don't know which one. One thing for sure is that we will have signings before we kick off. How good they are perceived to be will then open up a more worthwhile debate

It's shame but it's true.
The fellas going to be up against it.
Taking over when it appears the winds of change are blowing through the financial structure of the club, and taking over from one of the most successful and popular managers at CFC......who's team played some very very nice football.
And he has a very tough start to the season that could easily see only 5 points from the first 5 games.
DS has his work cut out.

Wherever people sit in the half full half empty debate I think there are very few that are enthused about what lies ahead. I think everyone is on a bit of a downer and there is a general feel of despondency around. Perhaps it's due to cook and the way he left etc

If I remember correctly, and maybe I don't, Saunders said we were basically ok but needed a couple of extra additions up front. Since then we have signed one forward and lost 2 outfield players, R&R. So whether we are just one player down atm is a matter of opinion. Maybe we are 3 down at the moment, or 4 if you agree we need a left sided centre back. As you say it's only July, so hopefully plenty of time to get another 3 or 4 quality players.

Can't argue with that, but an increase in ST sales. I hope the club will invest properly and not turn its customers off.
