No but an update on this will also convince more to part with cash for season tickets. Its been a silent subject recently. Would be good to see some plans or ideas or some word from the club saying all is still going ahead...

...nothing from McAlpine has been announced either since they announced involvement with the design of the stadium.

Is Dema still going ahead?

It is a little frustrating I admit.

Its time for a statement, anything would be better than nothing although I suspect it has something to do with the council and the speed at which they work.

The latest can be seen via www.thecfss.co.uk - scroll down to 'Members Update' and there's some bits in there.

We are currently awaiting news from the owners of the land at Dema as to who has bid and who is successful. The local plan has the site down as a football stadium. The Club Board continue to meet with the Borough Council about the issue.

Nothing can really happen until this answer is known. We'll not commission detailed plans until it's known if the Dema site is affordable and sustainable - and at present it's not known who will control the site.

What would people like to see as the names for the stands?

One has got to be The Gordan Banks stand.

No, I think the away end needs to have some link to the town, maybe the Crooked Spire as most away fans recognise it... How about naming the away end after the bell in the crooked spire... we could call it the Bell End.
