Really? I don't think there was much of an understanding or partnership at all. Roberts was constantly telling Armand where to stand, where to run.

There was a reasonable partnership whatever you say

Think he has returned early in his loan deal and cannot play until that has expired. Could be wrong though.

Interesting that what was generally regarded as Armand's best game for a long while was against Crawley Where he did link up very well with Doyle. A game where Roberts didn't feature

Basically, he's played well against Port Vale twice, and Crawley Town.

correct. With hindsight, a terrible decision to send him there. It's done nobody any good and PC is very evidently not happy with the Oxford manager.

Cook must be an Oxford fan

Presumably the ruling that stops him playing tomorrow stopped him from going elsewhere

Apart from the odd cameo that could've season over for him

Not if that deal part funded Lavery being here, if so, it was a great decision.

so he played well in one game against Crawley, and against Port Vale. Hardly what you would call a partnership is it.

As others have said, its not Armands fault he is is/was the only other option for the forward line, and its not his fault he is a playing a division above his capabilities.

A new hope.

Which just happened to be consecutive home games just prior to Doyle leaving.

Just the point the guy whose views you dismissed was trying to make, i.e developing a relationship

Incidentally there was other evidence during December and January, a period when the Armand's boo boys were largely silent

Where? Who else wanted him? How much of his wages were they prepared to pay?

No, me neither.

Like all football fans that turn up every week and pay money to watch a game I see what I see and form a personal opinion on that. Others form different opinions. That's fine. I may not agree but I respect their right to hold a differing viewpoint.

As I see more and more of a player my opinion may change. if it does it does. better that then sticking to your guns regardless.

Too many people seem to form an opinion. Belittle anyone holding a different one. refuse to ever change their mind even if circumstances change.

as the chant goes "we're all town aren't we"

I have seen very very little in Armand game to suggest he is good enough for this team playing the system we play. I read with interest that the Oxford fans comments we're that he couldn't jump for or win a a ball in the air and had no positional awareness. Bambi on ice was used twice. This is what I see when he plays for us. If he is the same against league two defenses then it bodes I'll. I am guessing his lack of game time at Oxford was based on his performances in training.

I am not an Armand basher or a boo boy. I certainly would never boo a town player. This us just my opinion based on what I see at matched

I don't understand how you can take The Oxford fans opinion seriously as they haven't seen enough of him. They were well and truly primed by some plank who went on their messagboard slagging him off

It would be like me forming an opinion on Harrison or Mani. I think I will wait until I have seen them play a full game or two

It was asensible post until you mentioned the opinion of Oxford fans

Better sticking to you own opinion of him

Having seen him much more than Oxford fans I can confirm he'd struggle to bag 12 in the Conference.

Having seen something of Harrison and Mani now, I'll stick my neck out and say that, despite his failings, Armand is twice the player that Harrison is and at least four times the player that Mani is. It's not the fault of any of them, however, that they are picked. Only the Management Team can explain! Me, I'm just puzzled that they appear to be regarded as the future. I don't normally criticise players or PC but I make an exception tonight. PC says Harrison was excellent when he came on. Sorry Paul you must be pulling my proverbial plonker!

Yeah, I'm baffled with both of them too. Really don't know what Cook was thinking when he signed them. Who knows, maybe they'll come good.
