To suggest southern bias though like you did is ignorant at best- what basis do you have to suggest so?

As the gateshead vice chairman recently said they would have been treat fairer during the previous regimes failings if they were based down south. Now he said what did gateshead do that was worse than southend have yet still got demoted one division, hes right and dont say its down to lower attendances. Gateshead were taken over before agm and all debt paid. Wages were paid late twice, how many times have southends wages been paid and how many winding up petitions have they had now! It a teams got efl pedigree and are south of bedford they are treat better

Examples of southern bias for starters
Play off Final always at wembley with no consideration to play at other venues north of watford gap
Covid money allocations
Manager of the season to a southern based team
Gateshead game cancellations to suit a southern team
Southend keep getting reprieves but they quickly dumped Gateshead out of the playoffs.
Southern manager (think it was Boreham wood) clearly stating on cheating, nothing happened.

Im sure Clarevoyant will add plenty more to this list

That aldershyte (as we now call them) manager is actually from Newcastle but yeah i totally agree with all you say. That team were reprieved due to the leagues harsh punishment of a team who have done bugger all compared to southed. Now i have nothing against southend fans, spoke with a few, its the league my main issue is with

Add West Ham (21/22 season) & Bristol City (20/21 season) when they couldn't play at Wembley. Although they did fk 2 southern teams over in the 2010/11 season when AFC Wimbledon & Luton had to play at the Etihad.

The way the non league pyramid is structured guarantees a high proportion of southern/south midlands clubs in the NL, NLN and NLS and only one of the leagues that feeds them can be classed as truly northern

It is a matter of geography not a conspiracy, but it seems natural that decision making al that level will be skewed towards the majority

Why not?
I’m voicing my opinion on the issue, and my opinion is that I’m not bothered. Is that opinion less worthy than others?

If there?s a southern bias, why did Luton town receive the harshest ever points deduction in the history of English football?
A new hope.

I don't think it's down to southern bias, it's just down to who you know and what kind of cretin runs the club. I think that Southend could be still being taken over in five years time and there'd still be no sanctions. There's a massive North, South devide but on this occasion, in my humble opinion I think it's down to the above.

That was in the Football League not the National League.

Is is though - you really think an organisation has bias like you keep suggesting? What basis do you have or is it just a massive chip on your shoulder?
