As an exile who doesn't get to many games but has a ticket for the last game, has sorted somewhere to stay, someone to watch the dog and the kids, I'd be extremely disappointed if it was done this Saturday at a game I can't get to. (Will be at the Kidderminster game)

All these 3rd parties making decisions on the clubs behalf it seems. We dont need a board as everyone else makes the decisions for us.

Never their fault is it?

Seriously, what is your problem? In my job I’m always asked to do things I would rather do differently, whether that due to regulators, auditors, Vendors or Customers. If I were to take your logic here (whether it be TNT - we all know how tv has changed football, or the National League - our regulators) I’d be telling the auditors I’m not going to use software a which they say I must use as I don’t agree with them.

GROW UP and realise CFC have NO SAY in what the National League, TV or other clubs do. And for about 30 years now what the football fan wants means **** all to anyone who watches the money put in from tv, etc.

Rant over!!! COME ON YOU BLUEEEEEEEES!

Looks like ‘Bonkers Bob's Board comment of the week’ may have a contender on the next Quigley Tuesdays

So confused with this... people being called barnacles yet I thought as of last week those people weren't in charge of making decisions now, but they're still getting the blame for something that might not even be happening.

Fwiw I can't see them risking us going on the pitch while there's still games to be played but who knows

Spot on mate, if the league/tv say its happening, its a happening. The league handbook will have it covered for sure.

The solution is obvious, stick to the trophy lift at the end of the season as is the normal tradition and what people have made plans around.
Guess I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue!

Not always that straight forward fella, the league could instruct the club to present it, the league run the league, not one individual club and the league will have strings pulled by sponsors and tv companies... the league will have this covered in their own league handbook/rules for sure.

I suspect we have little say in when the league want to hand the trophy over.....they could probably make it happen at Wealdstone if they wanted to be massive bell ends!

So if the SAG or Police or club were against the idea the League could overrule them could they?

Truth is youre doing what everyone does, is guessing and trying to deflect from the real people to blame.

We dont need anyone making decisions for this club as apparently its all done by 3rd parties telling us what to do.

I'm like many on this thread that made plans around the trophy celebration being at the maidenhead game. I'm on call at the hospital I work at this weekend.

Truth is, your doing what your alleging im doing, guessing, the league hand book will almost certainly state the league will present it when they deem fit or similar wording.

If the police or SAG want it differently, theyd have to give a reason.... 10k on a Saturday v Maidenhead or 10k on a Saturday v Boreham Wood.... where is the police / SAG argument?

Me personally, Im not bothered and dont support either date, you seem to have the issues here on that it MUST be the final game, with your argument being that its 'traditional'.

Also, whos to say this rumour is even true?

My argument is that this is what was advertised and people / fans / customers have made plans around.

Again, all the rubbish decisions that affect fans never seem to be the clubs fault, why do they never stand up to these stupid decisions and say "no that is bang out of order for our fans"?

Still I don't suppose you could expect much more from leadership that stood idly by while Dave Allen et al nearly killed the club. Spineless.
