Someone mentioned in another thread they would like a different emoticon and it got me thinking, is it possible to import any new ones or are we stuck with what we have now? As an habitual user, some would say “over user”, a few new ones would be nice.

 :) :ninja:

Yes, there is, I did have a look a while ago, it didn't seem too difficult, it's probably changed since then though and i'm not sure if there is a size restriction... I'll have a look.

Right, Yes, it's easier to add them now.
Anything that is a .gif we can add.
Put em here and we'll add them if they pass a random whim test!
Stu, I've added the emoticon as a test. You can use it quickly by typing a colon and the word 'windup', but... it's a bit big... can you find a slightly smaller windup emoticon?
:windup

Most Importantly, i have taken the text off B) being translated into the sunglasses guy.
so...
A) We can type lists
B) It won't look stupid at point b)

Brilliant, now where do you find these emoticons?

Plus what is the difference between ninga and ph34r? :ninja:

Stu, the bounce is a flash image, we can't use that, If you right-click it, if there is a save as option, we can either use it or convert to a gif file so we can use it.
Odysseus, do a search for gif emoticons animated and a few words for what you want and you should find something.
and the difference between the two, not a lot, the second one has less eyes showing. As you noticed, which do you want to get rid of?

Ninja says it all really, no idea what ph34r means, so if one has got to go let it be that one.

Didn’t the smaller “wind up” work?

There are some great ones here but I don’t seem to be able save them and still have the animation, can you do it?

Great find - if you open the saved .gif in a browser it should show the animations.

There's a LOT of choice, we can't have them all, it'll be too untidy, any ones in particular you want?
I reckon some of these are needed: http://www.addemotic...razy/index.html

I actually have the first one as my most used emoticon on my Work's instant messenger system

Oh yes please, to the one banging his head against the wall, it is a must. Also still two ninjas and still two angry emoticons.

Has there been any progress on importing new ones? A wider selection would be nice. :)
