Felt a bit for Chappell, in county cricket terms Queens Park is a small ground so when it starts going wrong its difficult to pull back. Not a lot of room for error as he, and the Yorkshire bowlers, found out.

While it was probably more than we wanted to give away a decent batting performance makes 200 more than chaseable on Queens Park. The start from Donald was something else and from there it wasnt really in doubt.

Only downside was the Mount Washington running out on the Brampton bar!!

You should try a walk through Lumsdale, a beautiful valley full of old mill ruins and a waterfall, starting at the school at the top of Matlock and ending at the Bentley Brook Taproom at the bottom. Then pass the Red lion on the way to the ground/town. Use the X17

Three decent micro breweries in the town the size of Matlock isn't too shabby.

We booked in for food at the gate inn at tansley once and did a circular walk back to there that took in the waterfalls and we managed to stop off at Bentley brook brewery on the way round before food at the gate to finish. Nice little wander.

Time for Woakes to move aside.

Yeh quickly approaching the point where a bowler is being picked for his batting.
