Absolutely fantastic to watch, 1 gold and a bronze already today. Commentator really lost it in the second race, great to watch and wont be forgotten.

Just listened to the mens fours and womens lightweight pairs both win gold on R5Live .. The support was amazing .. Could barely hear Alan Green ;)

Garry Herbert is a brilliant commentator. Been through it himself, and the pride and excitement in his voice is a joy to listen to

Those boys and girls are super tough. It is a middle class sport so unlikely to see the bloke next door in a boat but their effort and will to win is exemplary. The mens 8 who were gutted that they had a bronze are a prime example.

Only time I welled up so far when kath grainier won her gold after 3 silvers. Although Mo got me there tonight.

Just seen the interview with Purchase and Hunter - absolutely smashed to pieces, can't stand up, can't speak, only thing they could say was sorry or owing second....
