His Post race interview. Yes I know the last 7 years of his focus have been demolished but when asked a question on everyone's lips " did last weeks tour de France have an adverse effect " he threw the teddy out!!!

It was only a question everyone was thinking.
I agree . Even the Missus kept saying it during the race. And wasn't the question even broached last year as well when the schedules came out?

All this "Britain against the rest of the world stuff" is a bit much.
I hope this isn't going to be the standard line after every disappointment
Accentuate th Positive, eliminate the negative

Can see where they are coming from with the Britain v the Rest, we are the best and they had to stop us playing the game plan we wanted too and give the rest a chance. Though i do think a team wof 4 maybe wasnt big enough to control the race like they did in the Tour De France, bet Cavendish was gutted if im honest, especially after the successes of last week for his team mate. The rest played the race well and i was suprised nobody chased the 2 who broke away and dominated the race.

We are the best at controlling pace and managing a sprint finish - however the way the race was run on Saturday was equally as frustrating for other teams who clearly thought Team GB would bring back the leaders - prime example being Germany, Australia who had strong sprinters (Griepel and Goss) and the second favourite for the race Peter Sagan who must have thought the same otherwise he would have attacked at some point.
Have to agree team tactics are hard to control when there is only 4 of you considering the sprinter is't going to get involved.
