Maybe it's time to give an established NL keeper a game or two?

Dropping him will do his confidence no good at all.

That’s a no from me. Punch today lands 40 yards out, we don’t close down the crosser, lose the first header and don’t track the runner!! But if you want to blame Tyrer go ahead. We are always going to invite pressure by playing 4 attackers….. 6 out of 8 wins ain’t a bad start

Dagenham had one of those today- over 260 appearances.
See our third goal.

If their goal wasn’t his fault who’s was it? It was a pi$$ poor punch which he could easily have caught which came straight back in resulting in the goal.

He punched the ball, cleared the 18 yard box with ease, a good 25 yds. The ball fell to one of their players who our midfielders gave as much time as he wanted to pick the pass. No one pressed him and he put a great pass to the back post where those defending fumbled it. Williams failed to get the better of Rees who was allowed to get a toe on it and poke it in the goal.
Tyrer did his job to clear his lines. He can catch and he catches well but he must have thought a punch was safer for him than the catch.
That’s how I saw it.

Totally agree. But tonight it’s Tyrer’s turn instead of Grigg!!

I think most people see it differently. Under no pressure . Catch the cross.
