Back in the days of Fitness First, I'm sure they converted that into some sort of residential training academy for staff within their group.

Hmm. So if he's saying he's been misquoted, from a fully prepared statement, he's basically saying he wasn't telling the truth in the first place. Bit of a contradiction to say you've been misquoted on a prepared quote.

What I want is for Mr Allen to make a statement saying last season was unacceptable and that no is going on holiday until at least four quality signings have been made from the money he is making available. Yet silence.
What is missing, is all the no-nonsense talk about entertaining and Championship football that he was full of when the supporters were still gullible and surrounded by the glamour and optimism of the new stadium. His somewhat sheepish prediction we would finish in the play-offs last season was a country mile wide of the mark. I can only presume his silence means another season of bugdetary constraints and a hopeful mid table finish not something that is going to get you giving bullish announcements. No, best keep quiet eh. Don't raise expectations, like you have done in the past, when there are no expectations to raise.
Our chairman is a multi-millionaire more than capable of getting us into the Championship. To say we can't afford this and that is self-imposed. So my message to our chairman is, put your hand in your pocket Dave, become a hero and reap the financial rewards. You know it makes sense.

Keep it up. You're making the buffoons look more ridiculous by the day and while it's not a good thing in some ways it's better for the future good of CFC.
