Taking Mike & John out of the equation, what can anyone say? No amount of words will explain things.

The directors who are involved with the DC might consider signing some cheques in an attempt to tidy their mess up and then resign.

As a casual user of this forum, might I ask what this "crap" is . What has CROOT AND warner got to do with anything. Genuine question.

They are directors of Chesterfield FC. They employ a Chief Executive who through his directorship of the Development Centre is dragging the good name of the club through the crap. The development centre uses CFC branding and facilities. Parents out of pocket staff and bills unpaid. I just wonder what they think about it all. As directors of the club they should be interested and I hope putting pressure on the CEO to sort the mess out over the road which is attracting negative publicity for CFC. Dave Allen doesn't seem to be bothered or interested so it's up to other club directors to get involved. Just my opinion of course!

Well said! It's good to challenge the status quo and I see you as someone who is rightly concerned about what the hell is going on behind the scenes! I would rather the two directors named who are town fans don't consider resigning as then their voice is lost altogether. As for DA not seeming to be bothered or interested! That can only be guessed at but the lack of information and interaction between club and fans gives rise to an enhanced arena of speculation. The club has bolted the information doors before the horse escapes so as to speak. The development centre debacle therefore gives rise rightly to the realisation that there might be more to come.
I have to say that a lot of the so called doom mongerers on here have again highlighted some eye opening facts and it's a big well done from me.

So now it's a message to John Croot and Mike Warner? And when you get no news from these are you going to start a thread wanting the tea lady and window cleaner to speak out against Chris Turner et all?
Look. Your frustrated at the bad press that is surrounding the club right now, nobody can really deny that there is a bad smell coming out from the boardroom every time a press statement is released but it's no good singling out anybody at the club for criticism because :-
1) Your not getting any answers from the main powers that be so the "lesser" directors aren't going to tell you what you want.
2) If you start demanding, don't get answers from these two Spireites your going to eventually get people turning against them which ultimately is going to be Spireites v Town supporters. We don't need that!!!

Keep the frustration for the people causing the frustration and not for the supporters who are trying their best to keep Spireites in the boardroom.

Well in my opinion we should be critical of all those who sit at the big table as not one of them appears to be interested or if they are interested they don't appear to have the metal to speak up or out, or to the supporters to explain things.

I'm all for "the board" as a collective speaking with the supporters. But singling people out is only going to cause problems and even more a rift between supporters.

I remember Dave Allen describing CFC as a 'family club'.

And I've absolutely no reason to doubt his decency, honesty, or commitment to such standards.

So the question is how long will he tolerate parents and employees, including Spireite legends like Sean O'Neil, being treated in a manner that damages the name of his 'family' football club?

So what is the point of being a Director Of CFC. The fans rely on the directors to run the club properly. If they have no say they clearly enjoy the title director and all provides directors got. As I've said time for people to step up!
