DW alluded to possibly him playing through the pain barrier I think in an interview recently

Fingers crossed it's not, but it's unusual for a keeper to be out that long isn't it?

This is my concern. It's not something you often see. What was the original problem? It's been so long I cant even remember.

When I saw him at Saltergate when he played for Macclesfield I thought he was a clown with his long hair and his eratic keeping.
However he has probably made me eat the most humble pie since his time here and forget all the great performances just the one on ones he has pulled off over the years.
There was a time when I thought he would go (I BELIEVE HE WAS VERY VERY CLOSE TO MOVING TO LEEDS A FEW SEASONS BACK) but he stayed and alrhough harldly faultless he has been the most improved player I have ever seen at this club.
I think he is finished. If and when its confirmed I will be the first to buy a ticket for any testomonial match that the club arranges for him.
Oh and just to finish a hell of a nice bloke to talk too.
Class on and off the field

Truth. I met him in Leeds on a night out just after our 2010-11 promotion season and despite him being a month younger than me, went all fanboy and whatnot. He was a true gent. I'd never before seen a footballer rocking the double denim look, mind you.

I'd be right in the queue behind you.
I really hope it isn't game over, his return would be a massive boost for everybody, and I firmly believe that having a good goalkeeper behind you makes the defence up their levels cause Of The confidence it provides.
Hopefully it's just a case of them saying what the worst case scenario is without it been the probable scenario.
