I think that probably tells us Everton are looking at a level or two higher than L2 for Tyrer next season.

I like the look of him - he has a calmness that Tyrer doesn't yet possess - and that transmits to those around him. Not sure he'll get too much game time in the run-in if it's going to increase any loan fee to Everton. As for Number 1 next season, surely that's entirely dependent on whether Tyrer returns.

I’m not sure that tells us that.
Second guessing, but I think there is a good chance we will have both Tyrer and Boot with us next season. We need good competition throughout the squad and that starts with the goalkeepers.

Boot is capable of being number 1. Capable keeper and not prone to errors like some of the duds we’ve had between the sticks such as Anyon, Fitzsimons etc.
Would happily have Tyrer back but think he will end up in League 1, probably at a club like Burton or Cambridge (if they both stop up). He will probably be pushing for a start in Everton colours in the next 18 months iMO.
If we don’t get Tyrer I trust Cook to unearth another gem.

Yep, need two decent keepers from word GO. We can’t just go out and sign a replacement like we can in the NL

I also think that if Tyrer is loaned out again by Everton it will be to us, especially if Dychey is still their manger...as he's always had a soft spot for us and Tyrer has already said he'd come back if it's an option!

It's on record what Tyrer said he'd be coming back if he had the chance but if its a toss up between us or a league higher, I'm a thinking that his allegiance speech goes outta the window.

Let’s hope both are here next season, Tyrer has pushed Naylor this season for me for the player of the season award.
I do think though that Everton see him as a long term replacement for Pickford and he’s definitely a future number one there.
Would love him to start with us next season, the best keeper we’ve had since Tommy Lee. ( by a mile )..

I don’t think he’s a Premier League goalkeeper in waiting personally.

Think the adulation he gets is a bit unfounded but I thought the same about Ramsdale and guess what!

They might not be in the prem when he goes back !!
But seriously he’s got a very good chance to go a lot further up the pyramid and he’s certainly got potential.
Do we give Boot some game time after we win the title officially? I certainly hope so.
