Does anyone know where i might get a very cheap widescreen monitor or hdtv for a friend of mine who is struggling to afford xmas for her two boys after being made redundant. I can collect from anywhere around town.

Might be worthwhile checking the local selling pages on social media, and eBay etc next week.

With the big chains knocking out Ultra HD TV's for less than £400 this weekend (black Friday) many will be upgrading for Xmas and selling their 'old' ones off I'd guess.
