It is if you dont know what you are doing... but then I dont think knocking together a set of accounts is hard but you might not find it as easy. We all have our own skills, I pay people for the ones I dont have!

I agree- pay people for what they are good at.
(Fwiw I couldn’t imagine fitting a kitchen and I’m awful with my own accounts)

As much as skills its sometimes time as well. Full time job, young family etc its hard sometimes to find the time to get jobs done or get them done in a decent amount of time rather than a couple of hours here and there over days\weeks. We've had our front garden cleared out and sorted as it had taken over a bit and some conifers were getting a pain in the backside...i could have done it but it would have taken me ages doing a bit here and there after work or at weekends around other stuff....paid a guy we know to come and do it and in just over 2 days he'd cleared it, made it look decent and put a new fence up...worth every penny for the work and time we saved.

I thought you'd likely pop up and say something similar. Is there anything you can't do?

There’s a town lad who’s very talented. On FB as JP Kitchens & Installations. Dan Ashcroft Design on the Morrisons / Chatsworth Road corner (that’s the showroom) is also very good.

I don't get where you think I can do everything. I have never said that. Just a point I am an engineer so practical things and working with my hands are second nature to me. Give me a broken computer and I'm totally lost, give me broken machinery and I'm in seventh heaven. Plus I'm always modest 😀
