It should be implemented throughout the footballing world.

VAR by design shouldn’t take long…it’s to correct obvious errors. If it takes an age and numerous slow motion replays from multiple angles it’s not a clear and obvious error.

But correct decision, Russo fouled the Haiti player not the other way round.
This one is also correct as she was playing volleyball not football.

Then the Co commentator made the ridiculous remark saying she can’t understand how a player can be booked for something that occurred after the original foul!

Because the foul occurred before the VAR alerted the ref to the potential penalty so was still live play.

This Ref is doing exactly that though.

A player can be cautioned whether in live play or not.

I think it's more a case of endangering an opponent/violent conduct whether in play or not, like if she had punched her

The couple I’ve seen they’ve just said “after review my decision is etc” which is no different to them just signalling penalty as they did before. No explanation as to how they came to the decision so how’s it any different.

To be honest it was borderline red card!

I dont agree. Both players have eyes on the ball, just have a coming together of legs, neither player goes down and the defender still manages to clear the ball. To me it looked like a cop out decision to stay away from any controversy. If that happens in the middle of the park it's played on.

The Haiti left winger looked a tidy player though.

I agree. 30-60 seconds is long enough to identify a clear and obvious error by an official. Also, get rid of the pitch side monitor. That's passing the buck.

Exactly.
