With Sheridan saying that he is going to make harsh decisions with the players, i hope with the likes of Currie, that they know who they are (happy to sit there getting thier wages and not playing first-team football) and sheridan has got no time for them and it has not worked for them at the club, and i hope it has sparked players very much fighting for their places in the team and challenging what we missed with under Rico, The bad start in the last month under some say we have had a hard start but generally if we want to get promotion we need to be picking up points at them sort of places but if we can't do that uet we really need to get 3 points against clubs such as macclesfield. But i can see huge improment under sheridan with the players not the results which is disappointing but from what i can see somewhere in the season we will pick up and fire into the play-offs and stay there but we are only going to do that with a good team and i am sure when or as soon as sheridan gets his side he wants with the players good enough such as a tall striker and so on we will be a good promotion worthy team. But the fans have a huge role if they are demanding for promotion if they get behind the team and stop moaning about stuff on the pitch, Sheridan and Tommy Wright know what is wrong and will adjust it. Believe, c'mon spireites!

He says he is going to be harsh with the players. How do you think he can do this? Empty words
What huge improvements has he made with the players IYO?

I think that's a perfectly good question. Whilst some players who didn't do so well under Rico have performed well others that were key players last season have been pretty poor this season. We still have inconsistency issues and the team tactics and selections have often been baffling.

We've had our worst start to a season since we were relegated to L2 and the squad still has an in-balance despite six signings. Whilst it's still early days I fail to see what major improvements Sheridan has made.
If only....

I can see how he wants the game to be played, but doubt we have the players to do it.
A new hope.

Then surely as a manager he has to come up with a different game plan?

I suspect most managers have an idea how they would like the game to be played but have to adjust the plan to suit the players or coach some skill into the team.

So far, in my opinion, he is struggling to keep his head above water, we seem to have taken quite a few steps back. Its not an easy job and I hope he starts to make progress very soon.
