    Ageism is a nasty blight. More prevailent than people imagine. Not asking for the 'respect your elders' mantra but old / older people are portrayed as wearning cardigans, sitting on benches and waving at people. I don;t know many people who do this.

    Is this necessarily a good thing - having more players who are into their 30s? I suppose modern fitness, it doesn't matter too much, maybe.

    You get the grass cut properly too. In Ashgate, Loundsley Green and Holme Hall things look like overgrown versions of the savanna. There's the excuse of eco-friendly habitats etc. I think that's a load of ***. Wouldn't be surprised to see giraffes and antelop soon. Get it cut!!
