From that bastion of impartial reporting The Mirror....
Lets be honest all MPs spend hours sat in the House behaving like children. And pursuing their own pet projects in their constituency or nationally.
The civil servants do all the work. -

Interesting isn’t it that Denmark also reveal these figures
At the top three contributing nationalities, the average Dutch migrant contributes $17500 a year in taxes, American - $16300, and French - $15800.
As for the three nationalities that cost the most to the Danish taxpayer, the average Somali costs Denmark $21771 a year, Syrian - $19700, Lebanese - $16500
Of course it’s possible that the UK is very different with Somalians over here contributing hugely to the public purse and Dutch and Americans all in social housing on benefits
I am sure if we processed them more quickly, allowed them to work and get their lives moving, those numbers might be different in both categories. Until that happens we arent really comparing apples with apples...
Wonder what the average Brit who has never worked since school, knows how to work the system and provides nothing for themselves and their brood of kids for a lifetime - and of course nor do the multiple dads of said brood - cost the country too.... -

I’m sure crime figures by towns and counties are available
For example, According to the Office for National Statistics crime report, North Yorkshire had a crime rate of 49.9 per 1,000 people – the lowest in the country and way below the national average of 79.52. North Yorkshire is made up of 3,480 square miles of land, and national parks cover 40% of the county.9 Mar 2023
So let’s play devils advocate, if the crime rate from migrants from area “A” is 5 times the national average then that information should be suppressed?
There you go, misreading the stats. Those stats are for crimes IN the area, not by people FROM the area. You can get crime stats for countries too, but apparently that isnt enough detail for you....
And yes, we shouldnt try and show causation where there may not be any. Its not related to race or religion or colour, but maybe to drug or alcohol use, socio economic position etc. Just link it to that. You may of course be able to show that more immigrants from certain countries fall into those groups where causation has been proven, but that is as close as it should get. -

That wouldn’t be a migrant league table then would it?
Do you think there should be published numbers?
And then maybe we could publish them by county in the UK, (of living not theft), and then maybe town.... After all, if you are from a certain place you must be a criminal right? Are people from Derbyshire more likely to be crims than people from Herts? Bolsover v Clowne v Chesterfield? To think that a persons honesty is determined by where they come from is nearly as stupid as saying its based on their colour...
(but it might be affected by their socio economic group which also might influence which party they vote for - so maybe we could rank Tories v Lib Dems v Greens v Labour v New Labour...?)

05 Jul 2023 - 20:10Sorry to bother you. I believe you worked for a hotel chain in London and previously had access to discount codes.
It’s a bit of a long shot and very last minute. But could you let me know if this is still the case.
I only ask as my part is due to go to London on Friday and the hotel she was booked into has canceled last minute.
Thanks
