I'd forgotten that. Truly one of the most ridiculous things I've seen any footballer do.

Agreed...I chose to let him off, given the opposition!
The greatest miscarriage of justice since my case against the producers of the Never Ending Story

It get's interesting.

If Jones returns, we will have four players competing for LB including G. Smith, JBW and Muggleton yet not a fit proper RB available.

Something has got to give but we really do need a RB.

Barry can play right back.

Not very well but still.

ATM - yes, but I'd hardly call JBW in a competitive mode for anything quite frankly.

DJ was a great attacking wing back & could deliver a brilliant ball at pace into the box...he was also very pacy & could past a player - a lot of attributes none of our current left backs can do!!
Let's be fair:
G Smith...we just do not know what potential he has!
JBW....looks as though he couldn't give a flying chuff
Muggleton....never been a footballer has he really!!

Well it looks like George Smith can't buy a game. No manager seems to want to play him so we have to conclude he isn't very good.

I like Dan Jones pace but his injury record is a concern.

Always felt Jones was better going forward than defending but one would think that one or two of the others will be moved on if Dan does sign.

Barry can't play RB if his hamstring has gone as was suggested when he left the field of play on Saturday.

The other RB we have his Talbot but, quelle surprise, he's injured and certainly not likely to be available very soon.

I don't like the idea of making do with either Evans, J Smith or Weir and it seems Ofoegbu isn't ready yet.

As such, we remain short in this position.

What impact will his injuries have had on his pace?
I agree, his pace was arguably his best asset and he looked fantastic going forward.
Without that pace, what sort of player are you getting in Dan Jones?

Then again, he could be playing with one leg and he still gets in before Binnom-Williams, Muggleton and ( by the sounds of it ) Smith.

Why brink McKay in and loan Rawson out to Sheff fc. A bit of an odd one if it's right.

He’s older, probably stronger and hopefully more developed? I liked the look of Rawson in the cameo I saw, he certainly offered more than Levi but whether he’s ready for what we currently need is doubtful. He certainly put himself about and got involved.

Yarney played a bit at right back for Morecambe.

I think Barry has done well since he’s come back but it’s all about opinions

Didn't know that but, if so, the position might be covered.

I'll ask the question to save Warfey the job -

How big are Yarney and McKay?

Why have we signed McKay? What's the angle? Even Airdrie fans thought him useless, looking at Pieandbovril (Scottish forum). Is his dad paying us to take him?

If he proves me wrong I'll be delighted.
These go to eleven.

McKay is 6ft 2" age 22 only one senior goal for Airdrie in 15 appearances for them

I expect he's costing us nowt, Warnock wanting to give him games to give him something positive to focus on

Agree Ernie. He's done well and looked decent going forward down the line.

I know nowt and this is pure speculation but it!s possible given the facts that the lad has received hate mail and doesn't want to be in Cardiff. If Sheridan has been able to take advantage of that then it is great thinking.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Let's hope he proves you wrong then.

Apparently, he lives in Doncaster so we are local to him. Can't think the likes of Leeds and Cardiff would take him on if they didn't think he had any potential.

I suspect Warnock wants to do right by him, realises he isn't going to advance to premiership class, and allowed him to join us for next to nowt to allow all parties see how it works out.
