..........the snazzy new style free kick in the first half that presented Drew with a very good chance. Very well rehearsed and disguised, with Lowry entrusted with the delivery. The watching Shrewsbury and Rotherham managers will also have seen it, so we need to invent another one.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

Yeah, you're right!

I think several pints in the Park (Derbys v Northants) plus a few more in the 'Mow' before and after the game must've taken their toll, but now you mention it several people around me were left wide eyed and open mouthed that we tried something different at a set piece!

Correct, we were all impressed in the kop that we actually can see some evidence of something that's obviously been done in training. If fooled all us fans as we didn't see that one coming, shame the defender read it well :P

Excellent and almost well excecuted. I think Sheridan will have a few more up his sleeve.

what about on Saturday against Northampton, 5 mins before halftime the quick switch of wings with Donal and Jamie, which nearly brought a second goal?
Donal suddenly appears on the opposite flank took on the fullback and there was jamie to flash a header over the bar.
then they reverted back to there normal wings - don't normally see tactics like that either?

Also, I lost count of the number of times the pair changed flanks last night.

Paul Simpson walked past me at half time - he didn't half look worried!

But yeah, the free kick routine looked good. I'm sure we'll score a few from it.

Haha. I wanted to. It evoked a lot of emotions from last season. Expect more of the same from the dirty gits on Saturday.

I said to BlueRover at the time, Ive waited 30 years for something like that!

Mind you, my was brickin it when Davies took that free kick at the death.... memories of the one he walloped past Tommy from similar position last season... best dead ball player in the league.
