That is a valid point my learned friend. But would it not be for just that ground?

Are you comparing the manager running down the touchline to celebrate with players to fans going onto the pitch to protest? Are you for real?

He ran on the pitch and encroached the field of play during the game. A rule is a rule.

He'd obviously had some pointers from the referee assessor and didn't make the same mistake. Most of us learn from our mistakes.

But shouldn't Espirito Santo get exactly the same punishment, he did get sent to the stands so in theory he's already been punished once so that being the case maybe even a lesser fine. Double Jeopardy. It was pointed out on GOS this morning that Guardiola also did the same thing earlier in the season and got absolutely nothing, no fine or ban, wasn't even spoken to by the FA as far as we know.

Am I correct in thinking that the bans from the Ebbsfleet fixture were solely the decision of the club to ban them? Nothing to do with the police or the FA?
If that is the case, is it genuinely being suggested that Wolves take the step of banning their own manager from the stadium for having the audacity to show some passion with his team in what is increasingly becoming the sterile environment that is the Premier League?
I'm not sure how showing a video of yesterday's Wolves game will help anyone associated with CFC.

Since the Klopp incident all managers had a directive about leaving the technical area. You’d assume referees had the same brief

You know full well it's disingenuous to imply that a horde of football fans poses the same risk to players as does a manager...

I counter that with two names Gary Caldwell and Dean Saunders. A lot more risk to players.

A member of Wolves' staff encroached onto the playing field without the express permission of the referee resulting in the said member of staff being removed from the touchline and reported to the relevant authorities.
Which leads me to my question.
Did the members of Ebbsfleets staff who ran into the pitch and subsequently confronted the (airhead) supporters in the nets get the same treatment?
Again, an oversight from the already poor referee that was "supposedly" in charge of the match.
