I went to a dozen or so away games I think last season. Blackpool may remain the one and only in the league this time.
It's worth pointing out that the last two away games we've had saw 3,500 travel last season. This season sub-1000; a sign of the decline.

I doubt I'll bother. In the pub last night we were commiserating with the one ST holder.
The suggestion for Saturday was to go to the pub pre-match as normal and just skip the thing that's usually done at 2.30.

Don't agree with all your posts but in this instance I do
Like many I was disappointed when he was appointed but was prepared to wait and see and apart from the Southend game have seen nothing to convince me his reputation was wrong
He talks a good game and probably does get involved at all levels but he does not appear to have any motivational skills or ability to get his message across to the players
I quite liked his interview at first but have heard it umpteen times now and would like to hear another version
Wood is a disaster, we have no creation in midfield, you can play Gardner or O'Shea but not both in same team, trouble is there is no-one else unless you give Donohue a go
Was amazed to see no changes after Saturday, we all know Hird is no fullback, the guy has said so himself, would at least prefered to see a positional switch with Herd.
Not going Saturday due to Daughter's wedding, originally grumbled about the date she chose but now quite pleased, just naffed off that I've got my ticket for Walsall game.

Why not put herd to RB and give the lad an hour on saturday?

The only way you'll get rid of Saunders earlier than DA would like (and i don't say this lightly), would be boycotting home games. An empty stadium would be the only message you can send that he would pick up on.

That said, when Saunders was appointed, I did feel wave of disappointment hit me. His sides had never displayed the sort of style we have become accustomed too and it was as though the club had decided to give up on being the ‘Barcelona of the lower leagues’ instead adopting dinosaur tactics.
The contrast between last season and this is so vast it’s almost un-recognisable. The football is dire despite the manager enjoying a superior budget compared to his predecessors. Whilst I was initially sceptical of Paul Cook getting the top job as he was a relative unknown, having seen his Accrington side I felt that with the right backing and time he had the potential to be good. His achievements were nothing short of phenomenal so maybe we’ve been spoilt and it’s our turn to be the mediocre side. Now don’t get me wrong, I can accept losing matches but I want to see us play with a certain swagger. At the moment we are playing a brand football that is hardly going to appeal to the ‘stay aways’. I don’t mind setting up defensively away from home as it should be up to the home side to set the tempo but we seem to be employing the same negative tactics at home as we do away. It’s not like the opposition are anything special so it’s all the more frustrating.
Maybe Saunders proves the majority of us all wrong and Dave Allen right but I think this will all end in disaster and we are simply playing a waiting game whereby Dave Allen eventually realises his stubbornness is costing him even more money.
