I thought this game, in particular, highlighted how inadequate O'Neil is. He is a clone of Dimaio. No pace, static, no creativity, no desire to get on the ball and take control. There is no way he should be ahead of Donohue for a place in midfield.

O'Neil is either incredibly slow or incredibly lazy... Maybe both??

This is the thing. I've wrote this season off months ago. A couple of wins in the league sparked a little optimism but after Saturday's mauling......
We are stuck with sine of Saunders mess and a little of Dannys. Next season will see a lot of the squad trimmed and Wilson put his own stamp on it.
I firmly believe 'if' we get relegated, we will come straight back up with a good L2 side but, as yo-yo sides are, we will be bang average L1. I believe that's the future of the footballing side (if we don't go pop in between)

He obviously agrees that DA is playing a game of his own making

I wish him well. Tell Mr Perkins to forget Brexit and focus on some of his constituencies' other needs!

Isn't yoyoyoyoing more exciting than staying in 17th spot for 3 years in a row??

Indeed it is. That is what I kinda think is DA plan fir the club.
Have a strong L2 promotion side to bring in the punters.
Have a bang average L1 side which now and again will flirt with playoffs if lucky and get relegated within two to three seasons (if it starts looking like promotion- dismantle squad quick sharp!). If fans moan and leave, see option one as above
Championship to expensive wages wise/to big of a gamble
If get relegated, see first option as above

Saunders mess, as you called it, kept us up last season.
