Nah. We'd still be in 18th now if we hadn't got Evans & Rayns. Expect a big improvement again next season when the deadwood has been shipped out and replaced with quality.
Maybe your man Gary Charisma might be interested in a few of our bargain cast offs. Afterall they'd still be a big improvement on his loan signings.

Wooly, is your chairman looking to upgrade your ground from conference standard to league 2 standard?
It would be a nice gesture if you were able to have 4 sides so Chesterfield fans can help you fill your ground next season

I wish he would Benno. The advertising boards on the Bishop Street Stand are a B****Y eyesore.

they might be set to lose Evans - apparently he's alluding to it in interviews throwing his tantrums. He's not going to want to manage a club with 2-3000 home fans for longer than a small interval

He'd manage a team with a thousand fans if they threw money at it. Any success he has had has always been based on financial backing.

'Ern': you're right about Blubber Boy - it's all about the money.
And as I said before, I doubt John 'I'm pulling the One Call plug 'cos locals would rather watch Forest in the pub' Radford will give him the backing he had at Crawley and Rotherham.
Meanwhile I can easily see him re-joining those Wednesday wannabes at some stage next season.
That said my connections in Smallsville tell me there's been a definite improvement in terms of organisation and purpose even if it's meant a more direct approach.
A point of perspective, too: our lowest league finish in the last twenty five years was the tenth place in the bottom division delivered by Lee Richardson in 2009. It says everything that whilst we found that utterly unacceptable our little yellow friends celebrate something similar as success.
