Just looking at top 10 away support in L2 last season.
Well above the 2k mark on some games and the the top one (Mansfield vs Notts County) just shy of 4k
In the top 10 away support are Notts, Donny and Bradford with MKD and Accrington being the other couple in the mix.
Not sure where we will be putting away supporters - end of East Stand or part of North Stand or both depending on numbers, but looks like we gonna have a fair few near sell outs hopefully creating a cracking atmosphere!

Bradford, Doncaster, Notts, Port Vale and Crewe should easily sell their allocations. These will probably be near sell outs if we are doing well and they are not Tuesday night kick offs in the middle of January and February.

We're selling season tickets in the North Stand arent we so that suggests aways fans will be in the East Stand like this season.

Chuck Grimsby, Walsall + any other southern team doing well and if we are doing well we might be close to capacity a lot next season which is fantastic.

Likewise I imagine our away followings will be good, not many new grounds but a fair few local ones and a fair few we've had a few years since we last visited. Probably take more to Bradford, Vale etc than we ever have done previously if we are doing well.

If we win promotion next season, you?d imagine the demand for season tickets in League 1 would pretty much mean nearly all home games are sold to season ticket holders, with a small negligible amount available.
Unimaginable 6/7 years ago.

Is there EFL rules where a maximum % of home seats can be sold as ST's?

I'm sure there is in the PL.

Can't see Crewe selling out. Their home attendances have always been relatively low. Port Vale probabaly won't either, although they might bring a fair % of nutters. Donny also brought a load of would be hooligans I think the last time we played them. As they were going in before the game plenty seemed to be bevvied up and at the end of the game we were watching from the safety of the lounges as they came running through the car park looking for a confrontation. And of course Bradford had that punch up with the stewards. I reckon the security will need beefing up and we might see more plod inside the ground than we have for many years.

Speaking of plod on a different topic, am I the only one who thinks Derbyshire constabulary look a right load of scruffbags these days? At least compared to the old pics you see from the 70's and 80's in the ground when they had helmets and long black coats. Okay they might not have been practical but looked smarter and carried more authority than the baseball caps or bare heads these days. The high vis jackets also make it difficult to tell them apart from the stewards from the front at a distance. If other forces can still have the iconic helmets why have Derbyshire looked like scruffy bouncers for years now?

One of my daughters is a copper in Liverpool and when she comes home and goes to the matches with me says they look like strippers
They still wear the cravats and white shirts
