Ipswich sack Hurst, apparently. Not that the story appears on the BBC football page as the Championship is apparently too low for them to think it worthwhile.
These go to eleven.

I realise they will have written a report but until a year or so ago it would have been linked to on the main page. Instead we now get Garth Crooks selecting a team of players who scored that week and some half-celeb predicting scores.

Does anyone know of a decent website which covers all levels of the British game and doesn't fixate on the Prem and Champions League?
These go to eleven.

So would Guardiola but that's also not realistic.

He has managed at this level and might see the potential but yes I expect he'll end up at a L1 or L2 club

Ben Strevens has been made permanent as manager of Eastleigh.

Hakan Hayrettin has been made permanent manager of Braintree.

Daryl McMahon has left Ebsfleet 'by mutual consent'

McMahon seems a decent young manager and had his hands tied at Ebbsfleet recently.

Strevens is a low-life who grabbed Lloyd Kerry's nutsack. Steven MacLean was recently banned for two matches for that in Scotland.
These go to eleven.

I was there. It was disgusting and cowardly. Kerry shouldn't have reacted and perhaps deserved his red for doing so, but Strevens should have been off too.

Lloyd's family were nearly fighting with Town fans?

Rob Page was sent off later on for lamping Strevens. I applauded that.

yeah, Lloyd appeared after being sent off in the seating area, just to the right on the away terrace and one or two town fans started shouting abuse at him for being sent off, the guy with him started defending him and at one point he and a town fan were gesturing to 'take it outside' until a steward intervened IIRC.

I guess it wasn't obvious why he'd been sent off at that point.
