Incorrect.

The debt was transferred in favour of the Trust.

I don't understand what that means.
There are 3 outstanding charges on companies house, 1 - Chesterfield Borough Council, 2 - Derbyshire County Council, 3 - English Sport Council. I suppose the next accounts will show exactly what is what.

It was covered here in the AGM thread (http://www.thecfss.c...dpost&p=1564288).

OK so Allen "sold" the loans to the trust, so he is owed nothing and the trust isn't going to look for the debt to be repaid (yet)

Is there any point whatsoever in revisiting the past ?

DA & AC were/are what they are and did what they did. Some good things and some very bad ones, its done now.

Let it go. If some of you want thanking for highlighting how bad they were , then thank you

Its ok to take some satisfaction that DA's arrogance has just cost him £300k plus, it cost him a hell of a lot more here.

Wasn't the 'debt' transferred to the Trust at the point of the takeover so presumably, this gives DA or AS leisure some kind of hold (albeit a limp-wristed one) around the Trusts neck?

Surely the Trust wouldn't risk any come back on that for a bit of public point scoring?

Us fans however...…...fill yer boots!

No the debt was transferred to the trust, a bit like you moving your credit card balance from one to another. The card you have moved it from no longer has any tie to the debts.

The trust has effectively “bought” the debts from AS leisure.

I believe the only hold DA now has is a sell on clause so if the trust sell the club to a wealthy investor then DA is due a settlement
A new hope.

Because it might do more harm than good if he did.

We’ve got what we wanted, Allen and Carson have gone. Allen lost £15,000,000 or the best part of that.

It ended up costing the trust peanuts to take control.

We are now in a much better place.

Best we move on from that.

Nah balls to moving on - why no form of inquest?
That’s the problem - win a few games and move on (til the next time)…..

B-gger. When I drop £63m tonight I don’t want any of it going to Appetknowle. Maybe the trust will sell for a pound.

Absolutely. Then success will reign on The S42blue Stadium as I watch from my half way line throne. Money won’t change me though.

377k sounds like a huge fine to me - could Isleaiw1 confirm if that sort of figure is standard for the industry?

And I know we should all be grown-ups about this, and shouldn't laugh, but BWOUGHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

£5.8m for Rank Group earlier this week, it’s pretty small but then A&S leisure are pretty small in the industry.

The rules and regs around know your client are absolutely horrendous now and it would be very easy for any casino operator to fall foul of those issues mentioned. However I heard a rumour that the attitude is make the cash when you can and hope it’s more than the fine when it comes.

Rumours also that he sold London as he was told sell or be sanctioned....

Just remembered this from Jeff Stelling last week, he was asked about Chris Turner and he said about being mates with him so wouldn't say much about him, but he did say that he very nearly rejoined Hartlepool recently.

Which sort-of implies that he could say quite a bit about him, should they ever fall out!
