Wonder if he will be any more accountable for onfield failures as he was overseeing multi million pound losses

I'm sure that like others I would rather his services with the club be terminated as this is what he seems to deserve. However, and I've no experience of being a Director of Football, given his experiences in the game he is eminently better suited to this role than CEO? Hopefully, a different CEO (who understands the little things like finance, balance sheets and monitors the performance of staff) can sort out the s**t that Turner has left as his legacy.

I guess we can only hope the now ex CEO's >ahem< 'reward package' has been amended to reflect his change of circumstance.
The next question is who replaces him - will AC get the gig officially or will a new face arrive?
And if lessons have been learned they'll be qualified and scandal free.
One thing's for certain; 'Bob's Board' members will be ready and waiting to perform any vetting overlooked by the Club...

Do you think this could have been what DW was insinuating when he said that he had received bad news from the board ?

The thought of CT continuing to be involved in the sleezy world of agents does not fill me with confidence. Still, the Finance, Commercial, Banqueting, and Marketing departments will be sighing with relief so on balance it's an improvement.

Yes, I agree, not as far as pretty much every supported wanted but better than nothing. That said, it's created a new role that didn't exist before so it's going to be yet another impact on the wage bill.
My worry is we'll try and replace the CEO on the cheap when what we really need is someone with a proven track record of running a sustainable business.
