It was announced the Owls are on the verge of a take over, Dave Allen as agreed to sell his stake.
We wait with baited breath.

I wonder if Mr Allen is planning on bringing his former manager with him too?
(Sounds like Wednesday want a big name as their next manager).
I'm embarrassed by the actions of those who run my club.

A big name, like Robson at Sheff U! It really does p me off, when you see Brian Laws & Russ Wilcox working their balls off against the inner forces and then the new group talk about bringing in a big name manager.
Laws & Wilcox should be knocking on Walker's door tomorrow and ask to be paid up.
Pathetic.

Spot on MP. You can't help but feel sympathy for Laws with the set up at Wednesday. I have no doubt that he's a good manager, but it's just not him controlling the 'team' at all. Let's hope a new 'big' manager (Lawrie Sanchez, Steve Mclaren anyone?) will fail and keep that Wednesday ship sinking.
