Well, St Andrew wasn't Scottish, and St Patrick wasn't Irish....still doesn't stop folk celebrating their own relative country's holiday. And then you get some folk who, bizarrely, hate their own country and want to see their own culture totally wiped out.

Weirdly, they'd rather celebrate another culture's holiday(s). I'm damn sure several on here would prefer to slit their own wrists, than raise a glass to celebrate St George's Day. I mean, obviously, anyone who does celebrate it, must be a raging nationalist, xenophobic racist.

I'm still waiting for Marks and Spencer to do a St George's day advert; nothing so far. Clearly, DEI initiatives only go so far.

Celebrated across our estate just like we did Eid and all of the other celebrations, and joined in with by all nationalities and religions. I just generally take the view that most normal people dont get wound up one way or the other.

So happy St George's Day to all, whatever your nationality, beliefs or religion.

I wonder why the pro Palestine marches never tangle with the “Babylon” even when they’re shouting vile racist slogans, waving placards supporting a terror organisation, beaming anti semitic bile onto the Houses of Parliament and wearing Hamas style masks hiding their faces on “peaceful” marches? Mind you the Jewish bod was also hassled by plod, and calls of “scum, Nazi, child murderer etc” went unpunished and ignored by them as well. Likewise on the BLM marches which had PC Plod turning a blind eye to mindless vandalism, even taking the knee.
There’s a pattern in there somewhere!

My “hatred of the armed forces” ..that oft repeated load of bollux of yours, ie a blatant falsehood. I’ve got the greatest respect for all who serve, or have served , and as I’ve said before show proof on here that I hate the armed forces and I’ll donate £100 to Ashgate hospice, or if you can’t then you donate the same, in fact let’s make it £500. So let’s not do Ashgate Hospice out of much needed funds. We’ve never met or spoken to each other than on here, so for you to make such a flagrant statement that “I hate our armed forces”, and the slur that entails, I’d imagine you’ve seen me post as much. So once again direct me to those posts and I’ll gladly contribute £500 to their cause and if you cant and admit that you’re spouting lies then will you do the same?
It’s a pretty straight forward question!
Oh and a request to the mods, can you ask our friend CPS, to back up his offensive statement that “ I hate our armed forces” or maybe retract it?

With Town saying goodbye to none league I'm trying to do the same (the NL management is proving difficult) and CPS certainly comes into the none league category so it's a goodbye from me, perhaps you should consider doing the same.
