Knows where the net is. Been there and done it and streetwise. That will do for me. A striker I have admired since his Scunny days.
He's one of those players I always hated seeing in the opposition line-up. Stockport fans disappointed to see him leave. Lovely stuff. -

No chance of a PB for that one, it's a long uphill to Hardwick Hall then once you come back down it's a bit of slog back to the village. I'd be happy with sub 45 to be honest!
I'd like to try and get my 10k time below 40 minutes this year, Sheffield is always a good one for me but it's on the same day as Notts half so I'm still deciding which to sign up for.
Have you managed to get into the London marathon before? I've had no luck with the ballot but I might try for a charity place in future.
Yes, I did London in October 2021 with a charity place. It was amazing and the only marathon race I have done so far (done a couple of ultras as well). One of the best days of my life. It was the first ‘normal’ London marathon after Covid so the crowds were just unbelievable. I ran 3:17 after completely falling to pieces in the last 5 miles. Was on for about 3:06 then the wheels came off. I really hope to do it again at some point as well as a big race abroad. Boston, Berlin or Valencia marathons at the top of my list.
