It will be fantastic to see him leading out Burnley in the top flight next season. It won't be easy by any means but if you think about it, its arguable that about a third of current managers in the Premiership would be odds on to keep Burnley up. In no particular order, Pulis, Martinez, Mourinho, Pocchetino, Pellegrini, Rodgers and probably Allardyce & Wenger.

Really hope Dyche comes through & proves he is capable of moving upwards & getting the chance at the next level, ie someone like Everton or Newcastle in the next year or two.

He'll get sacked at Christmas regardless of how good of a job he's done if they're in the bottom 3. I hope they do well. Would prefer to see them do well than Leicester or QPR.

Pleased for him but in the lunatic world of the Premiership expect him to be replaced by a Columbian pub team manager by christmas if Burnley aren't challenging for mid table obscurity by then

Yes, hate to say it but I think he will end up like Atkins at Southampton

Unlikely I would think. I reckon they will stick with him even if they go straight back down, similar to Blackpool and Holloway.

Given the likely budget available to Burnley I doubt anyone could keep them up
A new hope.

Burnley don't come across as a knee jerk team, didn't they stick by Owen could when he get them in to the prem?

Saying that, they revenue involved in staying up, compared to when they were last there, is much greater, and paying a manger a few quid to go is a drop in the ocean compared.

The number of English managers in the top flight is worrying though, and he's gonna need to perform miracles to sustain himself as a Prem manager.
