All about energy.
The Lionesses have imposed themselves from minute one not offering the Dutch time on the ball... -

I don't get it.
There's no right or wrong answer when it comes to assessing a player because it's about opinions, but how peoples' thought processes work at times and the consistency of the same never ceases to amaze me.
Tom's been with us two years and he's made 89 appearances and scored 16 goals. In his first season, he picked up a champions medal as well as fans' & players' player of the year awards. In his second season with us, we finished 7th and secured a play off spot. His record at our club speaks for itself yet we have people saying that his legs have gone and they wouldn't be upset to see him leave. Probably the same people were calling for and pleased to see both McFadzean and Fleck retained for this season based on limited appearances and history with the club. Or for that matter those predicting promotion with a central defensive pairing of Dunkley and McFadzean.
If Tom's legs have gone, how does he compare to the likes of Fleck, McFadzean, Dunkley and Will Grigg?
A classy player who makes the hard stuff look easy.
Always thought the 'legs have gone' thing is a glib trope parroted by folk pretending insight.
Tom Naylor was utter class his first season - but because of pedigree rather than pace.
Nowt's changed other than the standard of oppo and, all too often last season, having an injury unsettled side around him.
I lost count of the times I heard the commentary team say how he intelligently intervened last neet, too.
I reminded of Sam Hird. Not particularly tall or physical of speedy, yet would always be in the right place at the right time to snuff out problems... -

I think you lot are being very cruel.
I mean, how generous is it of our little neighbours to go to all that time and trouble so even more local Forest fans unable to get Premier League tickets will have summat to do on a Saturday....? -

He’s so thick, and he’s not the only one. Assuming double barrelled surnames = private posh school boy when in reality it’s because he’s got family from South America on his dads side because he and his grandad are Brazilian and presumably want to retain heritage from both sides of the family in his name
Experience in youth football tells me only the truly talented and committed reach even Town levels.
If this lad is believed able enough to feature in a Premiership set up, he'll be more than capable of dealing with 'cold afternoons in Colchester'...
