He hasn't got one. He doesn't have to live these conditions. As usual talking out of his rectum. I'll tell my 13 year old he's work shy.

Presumably tax cheats as well as they are the other side of the same coin?

I'm all for that but as a dad with a son with Autism, I wouldnt wish his suffering on even my worst enemy. It leaves me completely bereft how doing our absolute best we cannot support him in all that ways he needs.

Yep, its easy for those outside to talk about it, but until you have experienced someone with it and the challenges it presents, its best to keep your mouth shut really. Not something I have had massive experience of but I know people whose child is severely autistic and their lives are massively challenged for just the simplest things...

A 41000% increase?

You can even pay people to fill in the forms to get a claim in, openly advertising a 99% success rate

Speaking of tax cheats, what do you think of this one...

Hybrid electric company cars are surging in popularity, with their uptake almost doubling in a year.

The cars are considered green, and so they come with significant tax breaks via company salary sacrifice schemes, meaning drivers can save thousands of pounds by not having to pay income tax on the benefit-in-kind.

But drivers are exploiting the dual capability of the hybrids by never using the electric battery, and returning cars at the end of their lease without ever taking the charging cable from its wrapper.

Legal of course, but not as intended...

Of course there are firms helping you fill the form correctly, just as there are your tax return. If the right people get the right help, that's good.

Isn't it?

Who mentioned tax cheats?

I’m talking about benefit fraud

You’re actually suggesting that if you can get away with benefit fraud then that’s a good thing.

You dont need help to fill the form in on a company car, you need the list price and the co2 , enter them on HMRC site and you’re done.

My car is £64k list, rate based on emissions is 12% this year

So I pay 40% tax on 7680, £256 a month for a car that is used 95% of the time purely for work as I use my van at the weekend

A diesel would be double that

I may have an A6 Etron next though with the claimed 420 mile range and pay the 3% bik

What about paying more into a private pension rather than having it as taxable income?

My son is on the autism spectrum, he also has ADHD, microcephaly and very poor muscle tone. The S&D has no idea what these children have to go through. He's just an ignorant bigot. Maybe he should carry on ripping people off by selling dodgy cars if that's still his job

who says they are benefit fraudsters? Just because there are more that doesnt mean its legit.
So just pointing out there are lots of ways that people use the system legally, I note you didnt comment if your plug in hybrid had ever been plugged in...

You have assumed that the higher number means they are fraudulent - but there are a lot more plug in hybrid co cars now, who are no doubt abusing the system, but you didnt mention that and its legal anyway... why would the benefit claimants be different, at least there is some check on their claim...?

Why would you expect me to have a solution to benefit fraud?

It’s like if you criticise our strikers you’re expecting me to go out and recruit a better one

How do you protect the needs of those who genuinely need help and assistance? My lad as part of his ASD diagnosis has something called PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) where he would rather harm himself in the short term rather than deal with longer term pressure situations. He would have no chance of dealing alone with what I think you might be suggesting. It keeps his mother and I up at night thinking how he would be left to sort things out when we are gone. What kind of life could he lead if he wasn't supported?

I’d expect you to have an opinion on how to do it. As I’d expect you to say we need a new striker we should look at x.

Otherwise it’s just air.
