Though it was 30% back into player's fund, just listened to Saunders on BBC Radio Sheffield Audio-boom,Saunders confirms it's 25%?.I know it's only a 5% difference but that could be the difference between a quality signing,or just another squad player. It shows it seems all that the club spout ain't always right.

I'm afraid there's precious little evidence that 25% is right.
We're on our way

The club contradicts itself very frequently, it's all a bit embarrassing really. We've obviously not got our shit together.

Even if uncle Dave keeps the 750k Cooper sale as pocket money....

Doyle 850k
Clucas 1.3M
Darikwa 650k

£2.8m * 0.25 = 700k. Enough for 3 quality players on circa 4k per week for a year, or 3 decent players on 2k a week for 2 years.

Would love to see a breakdown of where the other 75% goes exactly? Surely Dave isn't having the full 75%..is he?

I would image (hope) it goes towards paying off the £Ms of debt the club has.

The Roberts fee, the Cook compo....

You have to assume SEB took up a fair chunk of Roberts salary. We didn't replace Doyle but assume all the bits and bobs we have signed took up his

That leaves 3 decent salaries and I guess we will be told the new contract offers will cut into that although I'd hope they were all extremely modest increases.

Probably leaves the salaries of 2.

Then there'e this "kitty" that is supposed to exist which should increase our transfer budget by 500/600K over course of say, 2 years assuming no transfer fees are paid

Plugging black holes and meeting these unexpected expense that keep popping out the woodwork.

Hopefully some may even go to reducing the debt

If I was DA, I would prioritise settling the £1m CBC loan, to put this long running 'saga' to bed!

Clucas had a sell on, Doyle was instalment and Darikwa was around £600k according to DS

Is that not the same thing? Would imagine most of our debt it to him, with the council owed the other large proportion.
