Surely it’s Saturday or Wednesday to confirm the championship

7 more goals until the magic 100 scored in a season

9 more points to a magical 100 points

6 more goals for Grigg to hit 30 in a season

It’s not been a bad season 🤷‍♂️

If we need to win at Halifax, it’s pay on the day…..surely we’d take thousands? More than likely be postponed & win it in front of the fans against Boreham Wood

Yes, we'll all be on flash score watching very very closely with fingers crossed.

Part of me agrees but another part thinks that winning the title, while sat on a coach, coming back "over the tops" will be a bit of an anti climax. Let's do it in style in font of the fans.

Me too mate, there's been way too many Golden Gordon moments at our club in recent times, so I'm pretty sure we'll all celebrate no matter where we are, with no anticlimax. Yes it would be nice to happen during match time but it happens when it happens.

It'll be a slow coach if you're still on it at 5pm!

I’ve always sat behind PC and I’ve never seen such exaggerated animated behaviour before. First half, he literally screamed angrily at every single player (and of course, officials). I feared he’d have a heart attack. My explanation is that he knew this was one of the key matches in his career. It’s over, and he’ll relax now.
Get it on, bang the gong , get it on

we all know its happening, its just a case of when.

I can see a scenario where by we win at OLdham, Barnet win and Halifax is off due to their pitch not recovering in time.

Win the league in front our of hoe fans against Boreham Wood, the ground would be rocking!

Although, I wonder if last nights games postponed for Bromley & Barnet could get rearranged for next Tuesday/Wednesday?

Winning it at home to Boreham Wood is the best plan if i was to pick how it happens....packed SMH stadium to see it and erupt on the final whistle.

I did think the same about the other postponed games, only so many chances left to fit games in. That said it potentially impacts on any players picked for the England C team that may need to make the big decision about dropping out of that or not play for their club!

I'm watching it on Tele followed by the Barnet match so I'll be at home ready to pop some corks. 🤞

If we beat Oldham on Saturday and Barnet lose is it all down to the SMH car park at 5pm onwards to wave some flags and do a bit of celebrating !!!! Be nice to catch up with fellow Spireites who have been home and away all season and do some mingling and celebrating together. Like to think the team coach and players/playing staff may still be around after getting back from Oldham. If we lose Saturday or Barnet win then so be it, we move on to the next game.

If we win and Barnet dont i can see the team coach dropping them all off at the pub before they even get back to the ground!

I don't know whether thats too soon but you could be right, in Barnets case they have their fixture against Maidenhead on 6th April due to the FA Trophy and only have the last week of the season to put that in (16th April).

Unless they are going to put the postponed game in the weeks either side of the bank holiday then 19th/20th looks to be only date

Without knowing why we are playing next Wednesday, could it be that they play Tuesday?

We play Wednesday as Halifax are on TV on Sunday so that means they cant play Tuesday.
