Unfortunately we can’t deport our scumbags anywhere else. They are our scumbags. Unless we build a 100,000 capacity prison on South Georgia and feed the kelp soup three times a day.

The rest of your post is where I am, certainly since I did some reading on victim statements and whistle blower accounts on the rape gangs. You should do the same, the harrowing accounts of these poor girls, just children, the disgusting cover ups, from police, councils, social services, prosecutions services, schools, MPs - the whole establishment priority on promoting diversity instead of prosecuting sex offenders. Utterly repulsive. Totally shameful and a terrible stain on this country.

And what you said above doesn’t appear to be consistent with your previous posts

My posts are consistent - take them in, we should do our fair share. Deport them if they dont abide by the rules. Very straight on that one.

I dont read individual accounts, you need both sides of a story to get the truth. Not that i dont trust the media to print the truth - or that they are not telling the truth. But as with all things, it pays to be cynical about most stuff in the press these days

And the one before that was in power for 14 years and the one before that which won three terms.

Let me pose this question to Ian and HB, among others.

If a man applied for a visa, and in the part where you declare criminal convictions he put “convicted of gang raping, trafficking and prostitution of children” you’d expect his visa to be rejected right?

If a man had 3 convictions and custodial terms for serious drug dealing, you’d expect his visa application to be turned down wouldn’t you?

So why, on release from prison are these people with foreign passports, not having their “visa applications” turned down and removed from this country?

why do you take the line that it’s fine for this to happen?

Hey I dont set the rules, but if you asked me my opinion it would be that they have a window where they can be deported and that window would depend on how bad the offence is.If they happen to marry and have kids in that time, so what = the family can either go with them or stay here, but if they fail the rules the immigrant leaves.

Be nice if we could do the same with our own too...

(where they leave to - dont care, Rwanda as we gave them money is fine by me if "home" is not safe)

Nuggets or not, the amount of thieves , rapists, con men, murderer etc etc, who are allowed to stay int the UK and freely roam our streets due to the ludicrous ECHR rules is a National scandal. Not enough are deported.

And that's just ex coppers and people born here...

Back on track, I see the last two days as seen another 600+ plus future UK citizens of good standing land on our shores, not a murmur or word about this from smash the gangs Starmer, why would there be, he’s all for it. He’s too busy flogging the dead horse that is the coalition of the willing. Sort the UK out you absolute traitor.

Look on the bright side, none have flown in today ;)

    No, he's wrong.

    Very wrong.

Trump sought to deport individuals whilst ignoring due process and was judged to have broken the law by a legally appointed representative.

So he's responded with all too predictable 'spoilt-child-can't-get-his-way' tantrums.

But politicians should never, ever be able to bypass the law. In the same way they should never, ever be allowed to override judges. The Judiciary should always - ALWAYS - be independent.

And if they don't like the law? Then change it. Through the democratic channels available. With the electorate's consent.

    The altenative is dictatorship.

    Which no one wants...do they?

    Errr... https://www.independ...m-b2717861.html

My thoughts entirely Chris... of you dont like the rules then get them changed through the correct channels not just try and ignore the rules that you dont like and have a tantrum when caught doing so.

Reminds me of one of my former bosses - former being the operative word. The result of not doing things the correct way ought to be dismissal as it is in the corporate world.

    Hi,
Sorry to bother you. I believe you worked for a hotel chain in London and previously had access to discount codes.
It’s a bit of a long shot and very last minute. But could you let me know if this is still the case.
I only ask as my part is due to go to London on Friday and the hotel she was booked into has canceled last minute.
    Thanks
    Andy ...

Thanks for the invite - would have loved to have joined you but I am moving house tomorrow so day not in the office or in London!
Might have joined as the political conversations might have been more up my street than most on the board!

If you live in London, you're welcome to join a couple of Spireites tomorrow (Monday) evening where the main topic of conversation will be Chesterfield FC amongst other things. All very friendly. We'll be in the Williamson Tavern near St Pauls about 7.30. Sorry for the short notice.
    regards
    John
