Dean Holden has agreed to be Steven Gerrard's assistant in Saudi league.

Can’t understand that one, you any ideas Tim.
God I hate this league.

Barnsley seldom get it wrong.

What have Barnsley got to do with Peterborough paying off Tshimanga?

Yes, that’s why I said Dallas would do well in a team like that if they employed a real manager. No striker stands much chance of scoring in a Caldwell team. Can’t recall anyone doing when he ‘managed’ us.

The fact that other managers in the lower leagues other than Gormless Gaz haven’t been tempted with Dallas says it all really.

Not 100% sure if its right but i saw someone on twitter, think it was a Southend or Oldham fan, saying that Dallas had limited options due to three club rule. As he'd already played for Barnsley and Kilmarnock it meant he could only apparently play again this season if he stayed at Barnsley or went on loan to a National League club.

If NL is separate from the EFL then surely the SPL is separate from the EFL and then doesn't count as part of the 3 club rule??
Unless NL is still deemed a non professional league in the eyes of 'the law'

Its a FIFA rule i believe and probably part of the same stuff that implements the transfer windows which is something we dont do either.

I would have thought, that he would have been seen to have played for only one club, Barnsley,in the eyes of the EFL.

Barnsley fans on their message boards are just as confused. Same for Lofthouse- this season will have played for BFC, Gateshead and now MK Dons.

Thats the same as Dallas playing for Oldham now....Lofthouse will have played for two clubs that FIFA cover under the rule in Barnsley and MK Dons, Dallas played for Barnsley and Kilmarnock. As far as the rule is concerned Gateshead and Oldham arent covered. Its a FIFA rule like the transfer window so covers all football at a particular level that National League isnt part of.

Its not an EFL rule but FIFA rule so covers all teams around the world i suspect at a certain level and above.

Its FIFA so its never clear but i think some were getting tied up thinking it was just an EFL thing so only EFL clubs when its not. Its any three clubs that come under FIFA when it comes to transfer rules like this, transfer windows etc.

Brennan Dickenson moves to Hartlepool as Oldham continue to dismantle the side that won the title here in August.
It's nice to be able to Trust again.

Rumour has it they are being fast tracked direct to the Premier League next campaign as they are far too big to be in a league with sides such as Chesterfield 😂

Well, I can see them missing out on the playoffs this year, as there are some decent teams in this league, and Oldham ain't one of em. Next season they make scrape seventh 😁.

Has he left? Thought he was highly thought of & that he was playing there under a dual registration anyway?
